WhatsApp Updates: WhatsApp will Stop Working on Some iPhones and Android Phones from June
If you are using an older smartphone, beware. WhatsApp will stop working on some iPhones and Android devices from June 1. The change was initially scheduled to be implemented in May, but the company has decided to implement it from June.
Will WhatsApp be Shut Down?
WhatsApp is now increasing the limit on new software versions to use its app. From June 1, iPhones running iOS 15 or earlier and Android devices running Android 5.0 or earlier will no longer support WhatsApp.

All the above devices are very old and these phones are not getting new updates, in which WhatsApp’s new security and features will not work on them.
