Apple has launched two new iPhones. Apple has launched its iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Pro Max with attractive features at its latest ‘Surprise and Shine’ event. This time, the company has brought many big updates. It has more features than the iPhone 17 series that came last year. Not just in design or camera, the new smartphones have an advanced 2nm generation A20 Pro chipset, a new in-house C-2 modem, powerful AI, a better cooling system and a Dynamic ILED that can show three activities at the same time.
iPhone 18 Launched
Apple has launched its iPhone 18 and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Both models have iOS 27 software. The 18 Pro will have a 6.3 inch screen. The Pro Max will have a larger 6.9 inch screen. The processor for the A20 Pro will be very fast. Looking at the camera, it has a 48MP Fusion primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telescopic sensor. There is an 18MP front camera for selfies. The company claims that both phones will last for 24 to 30 hours on a single charge.
iPhone 18 Price in India
The iPhone 18 Pro is priced at Rs 164,900 and the Pro Max is priced at Rs 179,900. These models will come in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options. The 512 GB variant of the 18 Pro is priced at Rs 189,900. The 1 TB variant is priced at Rs 239,900. The 2 TB variant is priced at Rs 314,900. Pre-orders will start from September 12 and sales will start from September 18.
10 Major Changes in iPhone 18
- New 2nm A20 Pro chip: It is built on 2nm technology, which has a 6-core CPU and 20 percent faster Super Cores.
- 7-core GPU and AI: Graphics performance has increased by up to 40 percent, while the 32-core Neural Engine powers on-device AI processing.
- Vapor Chamber Cooling: A large cooling system has been given to keep the phone cool during heavy gaming and AI work.
- Smaller Dynamic Island: The Dynamic Island is now even smaller and can show 3 Live Activities (flight status, maps, etc.) at the same time.
- 48MP Variable Aperture Camera: The 48MP Fusion main camera has a mechanical variable aperture, which gives more control over light and depth.
- Three 48MP Rear Cameras: The phone gets a triple setup of 48MP Main, 48MP Telephoto and 48MP Ultra Wide cameras.
- New Siri with AI support: The new Siri AI coming with iOS 27 can work with more than 300,000 apps.
- Battery backup: Up to 36 hours of video playback on iPhone 18 Pro and 45 hours on Pro Max, which is said to be the most powerful battery yet.
- New design and colors: Available in Burgundy, Glacier, Black and Silver with Color-Matched Aluminum and Back Glass.
- AI Photo Recognition: A new standard called Apple Reference Image has been given to recognize the authenticity of photos.
