IPL New Schedule Update: Postponed IPL is Set to Start Again from May 17

The IPL was cancelled for a week on May 9 due to the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. Fans were excited to know the new schedule of the tournament, but now the BCCI has brought an end to the wait for crores of fans. The new schedule of the IPL has been announced. The postponed IPL is set to start again from May 17. At the same time, the final match of the tournament has also been delayed. The final will no longer be held on May 25.

IPL Match was Called Off Midway on May 8

The match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals, which was to be played in Dharamshala on May 8, was called off midway. The match was played for only 10.1 overs due to the IAF strike in Pathankot. But now the match will not be played again. Both the teams are expected to get 1 point each.

IPL New Schedule

The schedule of 17 matches of IPL 2025 has been revealed. The final match of IPL 2025 was supposed to be played on June 25, but the schedule has been changed due to the India-Pakistan tension. The remaining 17 matches will be played at six venues. It has been revealed that the final match will be played late, i.e. on June 3.

Postponed IPL is Set to Start Again from May 17

IPL is going to start again on 17th May with a match between RCB and KKR. RCB team will play against KKR at their home ground Chinnaswamy. RCB team is at the second place in the points table. Now, this team will look to defeat Gujarat, which is at the number 1 position.This match will pose a big challenge for the KKR team.
