Good news for WhatsApp users. A new feature will launch soon for users, this time the company is testing an AI-powered feature. Now you don’t have to Read long chats anymore, WhatsApp will launch AI-powered feature called ‘Quick Recap.’ This new feature will further improve your chat experience and it will be helpful especially for those who are busy with their daily tasks and don’t have time to scroll through long chats.
What is Quick Recap?
With the Quick Recap feature, users can get a brief summary of their pending messages in just a few seconds. This means that if you have hundreds of messages in a chat, you no longer need to read each message, WhatsApp will automatically tell you the main summary of that chat. However, WhatsApp says that this feature is based on Meta Private Processing technology. This means that your chats will remain completely private and end-to-end encrypted. Your data will not be available in a readable form to Meta or WhatsApp.
The Quick Recap feature is currently in development and was in Android Beta version 2.25.21.12. It will be launched for beta users soon. After that, all Android users will start getting this feature through an update. Currently, no timeline has been announced for iOS users.
