Pre-registrations for Battlegrounds Mobile India are now open on the Google Play store. The game will be based on the same free-to-play battle royale formula as PUBG Mobile in India. Battlegrounds Mobile India was created by Krafton, a South Korean video game company, and will feature India-specific rewards for those who pre-register when the game officially launches. The game’s release date has yet to be announced by the company.

Android users in India can pre-register for Battlegrounds Mobile India, the long-awaited PUBG Mobile avatar exclusive to India, on the Google Play store. Krafton has been working to carry PUBG Mobile back to India in some form after it was banned in the country along with 117 other apps in September of last year. Finally, Battlegrounds Mobile India has been released, which is basically PUBG Mobile with a few India-specific changes.

Users who pre-register for Battlegrounds Mobile India will be notified when the game is released. You may also choose to have the game automatically installed on your Android device when it is released. As revealed in a video posted on the game’s official YouTube channel, it will also offer some specific rewards, including a Recon Outfit, Recon Mask, in-game currency, and more. There is no details on iOS pre-registrations at this time, but the game will be released on both platforms.

When the game was first revealed earlier this month, Krafton said Battlegrounds Mobile India will have an esports ecosystem with tournaments and leagues, as well as unique in-game activities including outfits and features. While no release date has been announced, the developer did tease a famous 4×4 map from PUBG Mobile – Sanhok – last week. It is possible that it will not be named Sanhok.

PUBG Mobile players would be familiar with the in-game locations depicted in the photos posted on Google Play. They claim that the Erangel and Miramar maps, as well as the previously teased Sanhok map, will be included in the game. The game also has a revised privacy policy that allows players under the age of 18 to obtain parental or guardian permission before playing.
