This is going to increase the problem at petrol pumps from tomorrow, i.e. from May 10. Because from tomorrow, petrol pump owners have announced not to accept payments through UPI and other digital platforms.

However, such a decision has been taken in Nagpur, Maharashtra. According to a report, petrol pumps in these cities have decided not to accept payments only through UPI.

Not only that, petrol pump owners also said that they will stop accepting card payments from tomorrow. In this regard, a Petroleum Dealers Association has said that petrol pump owners are facing many problems due to increasing cases of cyber fraud. Due to this, they are also facing financial losses. After which they have taken such a big decision.

Accounts of many Petrol Pump Owners have been Completely Blocked Due to Cyber Fraudsters

Cyber fraudsters hack people’s cards or net banking and use it to make payments. Then when someone complains about this, the police cancel the transaction.The Federation of All Maharashtra Petroleum Dealers Association said that due to such cyber fraud, the accounts of many petrol pump owners have been completely blocked. Due to this, on one hand they are facing financial loss and on the other hand they are facing problems in getting the remaining payments.

The Nashik Petrol Pump Dealers Association has also made a similar announcement. Here, the association’s president Vijay Thackeray said that he has received complaints from many petrol pump owners in this regard. Their digital transactions are being cancelled and then their accounts are being blocked.Vijay Thackeray said that earlier this amount was very low, so most petrol pump owners did not pay attention to it.

But now such fraud cases are increasing, so finally this decision has been taken. In this regard, Amit Gupta, president of the Federation of All Maharashtra Petroleum Dealers Association, said that they have also informed the government about this. Petrol pump owners will now start digital payments only after getting a promise of appropriate action. Because cyber fraud has become a big problem these days. In such a situation, it remains to be seen what kind of response the entire country gets in this regard.
