Archana Nag’s path from her native tribal-dominated Kalahandi district to building her empire by extorting powerful people in Bhubaneswar is nothing short of a Bollywood film. Archana and her husband Jagabandhu Chand accomplished feats that would have taken seven births to accomplish in a short period of time. Their “Intimate conversation, Photos and Videos” strategy was the key to their easy money. First, Jagabandhu narrowed down his potential victims. In the meantime, Bhubaneswar DCP Prateek Singh announced during a news conference that “A case was filed against Archana Nag at Khandagiri police station on October 2.” She has a case 496/22 filed against her under the 387, 420, and 506 IT Act. “An investigation into the entire affair has already started. Her husband has also received notice from us to appear before the police. Her home was searched and a pen drive, laptop, and bank passbooks were taken. The cops are also investigating her bank activities and information. The Reserve Bank of India has been contacted for all pertinent information (RBI). The DCP continued, “Efforts are also being made to identify all of the victims who were blackmailed by the female blackmailer.
