Will Able to Make UPI Payment
One of the standout features of Jio AI Glasses being tested in IMC, 2026 is the ability to make UPI payments through camera-equipped smart glasses using voice commands. The camera on the glasses or eyeglasses will scan the UPI QR code. After that, the user will give a voice command and after confirmation, the payment will be completed. UPI Circle allows payments of up to Rs 5,000 at a time and this limit is not set by Jio, it is set as per the rules of UPI Circle. Its monthly limit is Rs 15,000. This means that there will be no need to go through multiple steps like taking out the mobile, unlocking it, opening the app and scanning the QR code while making a payment at the shop.
Live Translation
Another major use of the Jio AI Glass is live translation. Two people speaking different Indian languages can understand each other in real time with the help of this wearable device. You will speak in your language and the person in front of you will speak in their language. AI will take care of the linguistic communication between the two.
