Air Defense System in Lahore has been Completely Destroyed
According to information received from sources, the Pakistani air defense system HQ-9 in Lahore has been completely destroyed. The Chinese-made HQ-9 air defense system is considered a key part of Pakistan’s multi-layered defense network. However, the HQ-9 launcher and its radar system were completely damaged in the Indian target, which affected Pakistan’s air defense capabilities.
Earlier, on Tuesday midnight, the HQ-9 air defense system failed to track the Indian target during ‘Operation Sindoor’. It was inducted into Pakistan’s army in 2021. Its range is 125 to 200 kilometers. It had the ability to track 100 targets. Pakistan had hoped that HQ-9 would give a response to India’s Rafale, Sukhoi, Brahmos. It was even compared to India’s S-400 as a terror target. But HQ-9 failed in the face of India’s strategy. Now after the destruction of the radar system, all Pakistan’s hopes have been dashed.
